A family run company, Le Porcellane was established in 1948 in Florence, the land renowned for its traditions of artistic creativity and artisan skills which are steeped in history. They are reflected in the lighting and decorative objects of Le Porcellane. All parts are strictly hand-made. The details demonstrate that these items are not made by a standard production. The company uses the finest porcelain by an ancient craft technique of “grain foco” with slow cooking process at 1,330 degrees. Thanks to that, the porcelain acquires its special deep and pure white, luminous character. The lamps and other items are decorated with the cobalt based paints as well as gold and platinum. Use of luxurious materials and traditional craftsmanship result in fascinating creations in which each mark, fold and line are entirely unique, shaped by the artistic hand.
